This oil painting is of two swans swimming in a lake at a wildlife refuge in southern New Jersey. The water reflects the setting sun.

Sandy is a graduate of The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia. She has won awards in numerous jury shows and has had four solo exhibitions in New Jersey and Maryland. Sandy has been painting portraits of family pets, domestic animals, and wildlife in oil or colored pencil for 25 years.
